Friday 25th February 2011

At 11 am the School will perform a welcome waiata only and a Norse verse followed by Scandi Dancers – this will last about 1 hour.

At 1.30 pm the school will do a Powhiri followed by a Kapa Haka and a welcome speech by the Principal and a student will present a Norse verse to which Johan Bonnevie will reply.

This will be followed by Scandi Dancers and the visiting dancers teaching the children new dances. This will be a special time, with the 'Hallingdal Mountaineers Down Under' and the 'Danish Folk and Fiddler Group' joining us.
